What you'll need / Ingredients:
- Purchase 00 flour which can be bought from your local supermarket. 00 flour is a fine milled flour and is perfect for pasta, gnocchi and pizza dough.
- Eggs (59g-66g)
Tips:
Rule of thumb 100g of 00 flour with 1 egg (59g-66g). Small amounts of water can be added if the dough is too hard.
100g makes enough for 2 people.
Steps:
1. Combine the flour and egg together (hands or kitchen aid mixer).
2. Knead dough for 5-10 minutes. The dough should feel smooth and soft.
3. Wrap the dough in glad wrap for at least 30 minutes. This allows the gluten to relax to give you an easier and more pliable dough. For best results leave the dough to rest in the fridge for at least 4 hours. The dough can be kept in the fridge for at least 3 days before rolling out.
